The Trouble With College Tuition

College Tuition

When you first apply for college, learn about the professors. It is important to develop a good relationship with the instructors if you want to do well. Talk to them all, and get to know their expectations. It will help you throughout your entire college or university experience to have them on your side. Figure out where the college’s admissions office is and go to it before you pick out your college.

That way, you can determine whether there are scholarship options specific to the school. A lot of colleges have scholarships that are only for their students. By going to the admissions office and talking to the officer there, you’ll be able to know if you’re getting the best deal on your education. Whether you take college courses online or on campus, you will do well to prepare yourself for the experience. The modern college student can be any age from 18 to 80 and may have years of experience or could be fresh out of high school. Either way, soon-to-be and current students must take advantage of every available resource. For More information, visit our site Maufl.edu

Keeping Your Children Safe

Unintentional injuries are the leading cause of death and disability for children in the United States.  In fact, more than 9,000 children die from accidental injury each year.  That is nearly 25 deaths a day.  In addition, over 2.9 million children are treated each day for fall injuries.

As scary as those statistics may be, the simple fact is that most of these accidents can be avoided.  Keeping your children safe is the most important job that you - as a parent - will ever have.  The key is understanding what the dangers are how to address them and minimize the risk that they pose.

For instance, car accidents are responsible for 25 percent of accidental deaths in children age 1-4.  However, a properly installed car seat can reduce the risk of death by 54 percent?

This infographic outlines the causes of accidental death and injury in children and what parents can do to keep them safe.
